More Christmas events
There’s no shortage of holiday events in Davidson. Don’t forget to check out Christmas in Davidson, a three-day festival held right after Thanksgiving. It takes place on November 30 and December 1 and 2 this year.
One of the town’s longest-running traditions, the festival started in 1988 and continues to bring area residents together in the spirit of Christmas. It is also one of the town’s most anticipated events, drawing over 20,000 guests each year.
For three magical days, Downtown Davidson gets transformed into a Christmas wonderland. Go on a leisurely strong along Holiday Village, ride a trolley, and take photos with Santa at Santa’s House. Start your Christmas shopping early at any of the specialty stores in Main Street. Bring the whole family and create wonderful memories.
Attendees can also look forward to a series of family-friendly activities hosted by local businesses. This year, Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream will be sponsoring craft time with kids, while Rumor Mill Market will give guests the opportunity to meet the Grinch, who will be handing out free s’mores and hot chocolate.
